Messages are sent here from our site and go directly to the driver's cell
phone as a text message. Communication is the key to success! Being able
to easily communicate directly with your driver helps them to adjust their

Why
not just call the company?
Calling a big name delivery company usually leads
to lengthy hold times and if you are able to talk to someone, they are
often not willing or able to get in touch with your pickup driver. If
you are lucky enough to convince the person on the phone to relay your
information to your pickup driver, it can take hours for that information
to actually be received. This is not an reliable way to communicating
with the person actually making your pickup.

I
know my driver's cell phone number, why not just call them?
Answering phone calls while performing a pickup/delivery
job is not only difficult, but illegal in most states. Drivers are often
driving a big delivery truck (often with a manual transmission and no
power steering) or have packages in their hands and can't easily answer
a phone call. For this and other reasons, many drivers will not give out
their cell phone number to their customers. We created a better
option. With our system, you can easily send your driver a text
message without even having to know their cell phone number! Drivers agree
this is a much easier and safer way of getting important information from
their customers. Messages are easily sent here
from our web site. Also available is our free Pickup Messenger
program, which
makes messaging your driver even easier! Just ask your participating driver(s)
for their Package Pickup User Name and you'll be able
to send them messages! They don't have an account? They probably don't
know about our service yet. Let
them know!

much does it cost?
Our service is free for both drivers and their customers
to use. Though not required, donations do help us maintain and develop
our service.
